G is for Germs, N is for Numbers, and P is for Parking Lot.
I've wanted to create something that's well-known and make it my own so I can get my creative juices flowing. I've found myself having trouble coming up with words, although I've never been good with them. Once I photographed a letter, i.e. C for cardboard, I find myself coming up with more words for that specific letter. With that struggle, I’ve decided to stick with the word that I first choose/photographed if not I would never finish. I can always go back and redo the letters once I’m done with the alphabet if I find a better fit. I have been trying to stay away from the typical alphabet that we learn in kindergarten but it’s what comes up of when I ponder of the alphabet. I will have to redo the letter “B” since ball is something that’s tough in kindergarten. Just a minor setback, but not too big that will interrupt my whole series. I want to see how this series goes and then create the Spanish alphabet. With the Spanish alphabet I will have a different set of challenges i.e. the letter “rr”, but I don’t have to worry about them for now. As a non-native of the English language, I think this series will help me better understand the language.
