The prayer candles represent different religious figures that give a broad view of the different interpretations and how each individual can view them. They are shot in a structured typology format and color is used to highlight the importance of the candles and show the different representation of the figures. The dark background highlights the color of the candles and really bring the focus the candles themselves. I wanted to capture the meaning and significance of these individuals and how they relate to the catholic faith. They are not just lit for prayer but are used to help in prayer and have those figures help pray for you. I show the importance of each of them, and show the variations of the same figures to help in different parts of our lives.
